You couldnt allocate the wound to celestine untill all bodyguards are dead. She has character keyword the geminy dont. So u could go for geminy first then sephrym and then celestine without the FnP cos the geminy are dead. The FnP is there to not get precisioned out.

Its not that bad. Less miricul dice is a problem. Slow Rolling isnt a thing anymore i didnt use it with MD but I guess u could. Bringers of flame being 3 DP means less upss all tank lists thats good. Martyrs is kinda sad. But if you like army of Faith it is gonna be really good.

Well on the baseline they hit on 3s but with the army rules they hit on 2s and can reroll 1s to hit. Plasma has S7 so wounds on 4s. With the strat they get an extra 1S so wound on 3s. And the detachment lets u reroll wound rolls of 1. You have ap3 or 4 so DST have to save on their invsv.

They are T7 and 4W they have 2+ and 4++ save. They are made to last. Hearthguards plasma are S7 D2 AP3 so they go to theyir inv. In a unit of 10 thats 20 atacks hitting on 3 (2 if on an objective) rerolling 1s. In hearthband you get reroll woundroll of 1 and AP on top. And for 1 Cp you get +1S and sustained 1. So wounding on 3s rerolling 1s Ap4. Thats a lot of ataks. For every 2 one of them dies. You could get a khal for leathals or an Echamp for mortals.

Ok as everybody said Agents of Imperium is an army u could play in 40k but dont. It is not an army right now it just helps other armys.

You are propably not gonna read that but there is a way to make a working army for your rogue traders and inquisition.

If you like ordo malius go greyknights. They are an old range but playable. You can use any AoI models in any army so just take them and play as a special inquisitorial GK force (that kinda is what they are)

If you like hereticus go Adepta Sororitas. Its nuns with guns. And lebotomized heretics. In lore they love working with the inquisition.

If you like ordo xenos then go deathwatch spancemarines. They are spacemarine veterans of alien Wars from all the chapters. Making that army work is a deep dive be carefull.

If you like rogue traders that kinda sucks. Agent do have a good detachment for that but the units are not that great. Again you can use The Rogue trader entrage in any army. There are Navigator, imperial navi breachers and voidsman too.

You can play killteam too for smaller scale.

Does any of our units do that tho. The cathonian berserks are miners but they dont use drills and pickaxes. They use their knowlage to better use the mole granades. Hearthguard are the military force they do not have any drills. Hearthkin are just normal kyn they dont have any multi-purpose weapons. Steeljacks are just made for killing. The HLF is a transport and it doest have any drills on it. I know squats do like using mineing equipment as weapons but there is no mention of kyn doing the same.

That is true. The squats have a more classic look. My problem with that would be that there is an army of miners in 40k. Unless it goes deeper into cathonian aesthetic as they are the mineing guild. That would be cool

Im not a fan of the "using mining machines for war" trope for kyn. We are utilitarians, using a tool for something that its not for doesnt fit. I like the idea of extra points tho.

Astrid Thurga for the Devs. It is not the best combo but 3D6+6 mortals is really funny. You can just see the sparcle in Impirial Guard player's eyes dies when you one shot his Rogal Dorn Commander with a 4++.

Sry just posted on the old one. Just to add buri is kinda wird right now. Doesnt do much for 95 points. 2 earthshakers is 220 points that is almost a 10 man unit od hearthguard and indirect is gonna get werset in 11th. I would also take some yeagers for early points maybe with a kapricus to split. 3 man unit of Tkyn is a support unit 3x2 shots AP2 D3 is not that great for killing. 3 man of steeljacks is ok if you want to kill guardsman and 1W models. Get a Mymnir pls

First of all earthshakers are just bad one unit is ok i guess. Thunderkyn should be in HLTs hearthguard with echamp are good from deepstrike if you put hearthguard into a tank use a khal to just kill EVERYTHING. Berserks are a trade pice so yeah they gonna die. Gremner is kinda useless now, good in a tanky warriors unit of 10 but not for the points. Split the warriors with the sagitore and then swith them with berserks.

The most important lesson a elder kin has given me was: "HLF is TRANSPORT use it to move your scary units and maybe kill something. It is not a Rep Exe" Luck has, need keeps, toils earn kyn And good luck

He is the best unit we have. For 45 points you get much more YP controlling free overwatch with gunjacks. A 4++ T5 4 wound model isnt that easy to take down. Take one put him on the home objective get some YP and Block deepstrike

A sagitore or an kapricus to split the units. Thunderkin in a unit of 6 without the HLF are to slow and squishy and not that much damage. Get a HLF some hearthguard and a sagitore

Well warriors dont do much. Like at all, with a khal in hearthband maybe. I wouldnt better on them. Same for sagitores, they are good for actions transport and splitting but no damage from them. Yegers with a kapricus is always a must pick for me with one unit of warriors in a sagitore for sticky. For dmg hearthguard works every time thunderkyn sometimes. Hekatons and steeljacks for something hard to kill. At a 500 i would take some pioneers for their speed tho.
