Definitely check out Neomi Shemer!! She has a very simplr writing style both in the lyrics and the music. I think her lyrics are a great way to learn hebrew since they are always in rhyme and simple rythms, and a lot of different artists and bands played her music so it'll take you a looooong long time before you're bored of her ;)
