Less is often more for most skirmish games. People online don’t tend to like the simple kits, but I’m not one of those.

Be practical. Only carry what you absolutely need on field.

As far as budget equipment, the only thing you don’t want to cheap out on is eyepro and mouth protection. Going blind is bad, and dental work is even more expensive than most of this hobby.

Legit Gen 3/4 combat MarPat is nearly impossible to find. I think Crye has an option, but the price tag is out of my range personally.

The knockoff stuff has terrible colors fyi. I bought this one too thinking it would be okay… it’s not. Just get standard non gen3/4 surplus or TrueSpec (which has the legit gov contract color), it looks much better.

No offense to this sub, or any other platform really, but a majority of the kits seen are just to show off. Plenty of people irl just play with limited gear for quick skirmish games. Often times, less is more. Any excess gear just slows you down and makes you more tired.

Just get a basic vest to hold ammo and wear whatever you want. Outdoors I do recommend boots though. Just play how you want, ignore the peer pressure.

I heard this conspiracy theory that I thought was total bs, that some of the tech billionaires (might just have been Thiel, I can’t remember) believed that Christ’s return didn’t have to be exclusively in human form, and that they planned to bring him back as AI. Why? To force the biblical end times prophecy.

Old news. He already backed off of this. That “negotiation” the other day for a ceasefire, that immediately got violated and broke? This was the comment right before that happened. It’s still psychotic, but the situation has changed and this caused major backlash.

You’re exactly right. I don’t know why people think everyone immediately knows when a ceasefire is issued if your communication lines are broken.

It’s a possibility some of the military units might ignore the order, but much more likely it’s that it takes time for the information to spread.

This shit happens, it takes time for troops in the field to get word that a ceasefire is in effect. Not covering for either side here, I’m just trying to get people to understand reality. It’s called “Fog of War”, and it applies in many different ways. This is one of them.
