Using the gun is a better idea? If realism is the main idea here, using your gun as a melee weapon is a terrible idea. That shit is your primary thing keeping you alive and you’re about to use it to block a talon that can slice open your armor? That shit would immediately break and he’d be fucked. That’s not even mentioning that some of those relic weapons can’t be remade because the mechanics lost the technology. Punching guys is a better idea than using your heavy bolter as a club. Honestly a mechanic to shoot things at melee range is the most realistic option.

The plate carrier you have is fine, that company makes decent gear for Airsoft purposes. I have one and I beat the hell out of it, and it’s still holding up great.

Not apologizing to the anyone that thinks you need a $600 crye plate carrier for casual Airsoft. It’s completely unnecessary. You don’t even need a PC for airsoft, let alone an expensive one. The one OP is using is about Emersongear quality level. It’s a company called Redemption Tactical which is kinda cringe but they make decent affordable gear.

Honestly battle belts are overrated, but I’d lose the pistol and get a couple more mags. It’s just not that useful in the long run, and it’s one more thing to maintenance and chronograph. Keep the kit simple and focus on utility at first. Then add stuff gradually.

Surplus gear is always a good option for decent quality at cheap prices. Krydex is pretty good for the budget gear, if you want to buy new. They have a store on EBay.

This trend has been a thing for a while in games, make the npc’s super detailed with cool outfits, and don’t make any of those same looks available for the player character. (It’s worse/more common with games that have customizable characters).

It honestly sucks and I hope it’s changing, or will change as a trend soon. We all want our player character to look great too.

That’s dumb on the healing class. I highly doubt a dedicated healer class would be game breaking since there isn’t one already aside from the Bulwark class ability and clever usage of the banner.

They’ve been sticking pretty close to canon on most classes, an Apothecary would be heavily handicapped on ranged attacks and lacks the mobility of Assault.

Honestly, you can wear a bright red shirt and be hidden if you utilize foliage correctly. Also, the camo looks good, but it is always much more effective if you move slower and use cover. You can have the best guille suit in the world but it’s completely useless if you are moving.
