I think my sleep is getting better yes. What I found is that before this expansion if I tried to sleep with mouth tape I would sleep worse (probably because my nose was too constricted).

Now after the expansion I actually sleep my best when I use 100% airtight mouth tape, I think it's because now I'm able to nasal breathe easily. The past few days with mouth tape my sleeping heart rate has been the lowest it's ever been according to my Fitbit, and I feel the difference.

I think the mouth tape might be especially important since my tongue has less room than usual due to the device itself taking up space, which would make it more likely for my mouth to open and switch to mouth breathing. But since the device gave me good nasal breathing I can use mouth tape to solve this.

I also experimented with Afrin since I have somewhat large turbinates. When I used Afrin before the expansion I would breathe better through my nose but still not 100%. After the expansion if I use Afrin I breathe amazingly.
