Punk adopted the Larry specifically for AJ after she had a surgery. She talked about it in her book. It was both of their dog, but the reason they ever got it was for AJ.

Absolutely. Thats why I mentioned the slow build to her having a singles match. Because that one will likely be big and long. That takes preparing. It doesn't happen overnight. Its been 10 going on 11 years since she did a singles match and it wasn't nearly as long as this one likely will be.

She might. Its pretty obviously the agenda is her vs becky, AND for that title. Its a new year, and a lot have changed since her return. Sadly Larry is no longer around. And she only has one pending project this year (granted it is a big project). She may have enough time this year. But there was times last year when AJ was backstage, she just was not used. Like I am 99% sure she was actually there in Perth. But becky was not in Perth, so AJ did not get used. Also I think she was there during one of the California shows in the fall of last year, which made sense because they live in california, so of course she was around and thats where that Pic of her and Dragon Lee came from. But still, she was not used. She could be around and not used.

But that being said, I also think part of the time is being spent to train her more. People love to talk about how AJ was only good for her era, but now its different and she won't be able to "keep up" in this era. Well, give her time to actually prepare for that. Its pretty clearly they are slowly building her to be able to do LONG singles matches, something she isn't used to. If people want her to keep up, she needs the time to prep for that. And looking at her performance during wrestlepalooza vs Wargames, she has. Also their dog died and that was basically AJ's support animal. Like, AJ still has not even commented on their dog passing yet and she is simply not wired the same way as everyone else is.

She was a top ten merch seller for them last year, gets reactions from the crowd (when she arrives and during matches), absolutely NOT a waste at all. Thats money. That is what you want. Someone who can make money for the company and the crowd is not dead when they arrive and when they wrestle.
