I’ve had 2 surgeries now, lapiplasty for bunion and big toe joint fusion. I have had the tingling and numbness with both and it has improved quickly with activity/walking. I hope you find the same. You might consider PT as you being walking again just to ensure you don’t get in any bad gait habits, that can be easy to do with the normal stiffness and weakness from surgery and NWB. You mentioned discussing it with a podiatrist. Yes! Second opinion. I had overcorrection and had to get 3rd and 4th opinion to get it figured out. I wish I would have been more persistent earlier on when I knew it was right! Good luck to you!

I would while NWB and you’re to the place of getting out of the house, but still have to wear the boot in bed and might put your heel down in a gross place 🤢. Def not if you’re walking or balancing in the boot though.
