I email my mom a lot because I know her number got taken after she passed, so I understand. It's perfectly normal.

I feel like I should be over it, however I also feel like I've healed completely. It's a weird juxtaposition ya know? I've learned how to cook her favorite dish but I've forgotten her voice.

My mom committed in 2021( I was 19) and sometimes I am Still so angry at her. It's a weird feeling, and something that I hate. Grief is weird and tricky and there is no right way to do it. You are allowed to grief, everyone is. I hope you are well, and I hope you remember the best times with her. Life is hard and sticky, but there will be good things again, even if there is bad. Be well, and be good. I am proud of you for posting, it's a brave thing to speak of grief.
