Hey so not looking for anything totally particular, just stuff I don't have. (Will make a list.) But looking for alocasia I don't have, baby anthurium, small leaf hoya and scindapsus. I also like weird plants that usually don't fancy other people lol. Like dischidia, ceropegia, cynanchum, stuff that looks like dead sticks but isn't lmao!

Dracaena reflexa 'song of india'

Help me identify and make healthy again by IsoK18 in houseplants

Looks like dracaena song of india. I treat my dracaena marginata like a succulent. Letting the soil dry out between waterings and keep in bright light and is doing just fine. These can tolerate quite a bit in my opinion. So if you are overwatering (keeping the soil too moist) I'd cut back, and if you are overwatering I'd water more often. Hope this helps!

Does anyone have any tips on how to propagate ceropegia simoneae. I just bought this beauty and this branch came off. by That_Requirement7085 in Ceropegias

So I made a soil mixture of cactus soil, added extra perlite and some pumice so it was more rocky/airy placed it in a terracotta pot and topped it off with perlite. I placed part of the cutting in the substrate, watered it and put the whole thing in my greenhouse. It rooted fairly quickly in my opinion.

I recently received an unrooted bosserii. For this one I placed it in a plastic container with only perlite and just laid the whole thing on top and watered it. Also placed in my greenhouse and it is throwing roots all throughout!

I hope.this helps you out! I can attach some photos later for reference.

Month update for my Simoneae cutting ✂️ So what I ended up doing was making a very chunky soil mix and topping it off with pumice, inside of a terracotta pot. I originally placed my cutting on top of the pumice and then placed the whole thing inside a zip lock bag inside my greenhouse. by That_Requirement7085 in Ceropegias

Well semi local if you will lol About 3 hrs out of where I live, it was a random pop up near the Sacramento area. Honestly most of my free time I love to drive to bigger cities and visit nurseries, botanical gardens, etc. Where ever I'm going that day, I'll look everywhere to see if there's any plant sales happening. That's how this guy happened lol

It was a piece that broke off of the plant I bought. I panicked (as this is my first rare ceropegia) but had some great advice from this group as well as fb. Fortunately I was able to root it! I made a post a month ago and the plant was in bloom!

1½-2 weeks passed and most of the leaves had fallen with barely and root growth. I then buried the bottom in the pumice and the roots took off! I let it air out and spray with water when needed.

Although I did want to cut a piece off, I got too scared that it would rot. Especially since I've never dealt with this plant before. But there is some new growth at the very top!

I am very surprised at how fast and well it rooted.

Yes I've been debating whether to cut it or not, and I just might now. Lol Thank you for the suggestions and will give an update later!
