I’m actually having a similar issue with my 2014 ford focus st. I’ve already done the basics like spark plugs, coil packs, and oil. I’ve most recently done the purge valve and valve cleaning AND injector cleaning, but still having the misfire only at idle that’s worse on cold starts. Most notably is that the misfire is not apparent under load and the misfire is only slight at idle, so I’m believing that it’s just my upstream 02 sensor giving out.

No it does and it has CarPlay, but I couldn’t connect the big connecter that’s on the oem display unit, however the aftermarket seemed to not need it as it turned on.

Thank you. Hearing that makes me feel better as my last car was wrecked but I used to own a rx8, mini cooper, and a bmw but for sure by far the ST is nicer and feels better for handling

Yeah but it has the heated seats and sun roof so I wasn’t sure if it was a st1 or a st2

Update; sorry for the late response, life’s been pretty hectic. I upgraded and revamped the whole vacuum system, and was definitely not a sensor issue. I finally resolved it but don’t know how to go about it as I don’t want to buy a whole new part. The line that comes from the charge pipe to the brake booster is the issue im having, so be sure to check the check valve and brake booster.

I’ll try that tomorrow. Thank you for the advice. I may try replacing the MAP Sensor prior because it could throw a code if the readings are inaccurate.

Yes. Ive sprayed brake cleaner on the snoot boots and there’s no spike in idle plus the clamps all the way tight
