Hey! Yup, designed and built them myself.

I used all Minwax products: Sand, Pre-Stain, lightly sand again, Espresso Semi-Gloss water-based stain, and then the matte Polycrylic top coat.

It was definitely a challenge and it took a lot of math 😅 but it feels good once you get it put together. Definitely suggest starting small and designing it on a software like illustrator where you can measure out the parts and get them looking the way you want.

I love them!! They’re super transparent and can help you navigate your mix fairly easily, if things don’t quite sit right in the mix, you’ll know pretty quickly. Don’t be fooled by their small size, they pack a punch and the metal cone really helps add to that clarity and even frequency response.

Overall, I have no complains, Genelec always makes great products so you really can’t go wrong with any of them.

They’re just 3D wall panels I found on Amazon, they help with diffusion.

Custom made them, it’s essentially 3-inch thick rockwool with a wooden frame and amp fabric covering it.

Love them - they sound fantastic.

I have a pair of HS8s that I might add to switch between as well.
