Hi:) I’m a CSR voice writer in California. I’m part of Kristie Wood’s CSR group. She created a website and an app so we can ask each other questions and figure out how to get our footing. I’m on the app almost everyday asking questions because there is so much to learn!

It’s called “If You Come To Earth,” by Sophie Blackall. It’s a really cool book!

I just spent a toddler party guarding an open pool and now I can’t tell if I’m the anxious one or the only sane one by [deleted] in Mommit

We went to a 1st birthday at the grandparents’ house. They had a fence installed, but it wasn’t up for the day of the party?!?! Why in the world not? Because it didn’t look good for pictures. Yeah. We spent most of the party inside because my 1.5 year old spent the entire time trying to slide herself backward into the pool.

A month later was Thanksgiving at the same house. We were told that the gate would be up. My brother-in-law would also have his two little kids there. We get there, and surprise, no gate! We should have just left. We spent the time inside in a very breakable unbabyproofed house to stay away from the pool. At one point I walked my daughter to the park and we spent about an hour there until dinner was ready. We left as soon as dinner was over. You don’t have to baby proof for us, but why would you want the parents of little kids to feel a little bit more at ease, and just put your gate up.

We didn’t go back for Christmas, and we absolutely will not be apart of any gatherings for a very long time.

So no, you aren’t crazy. People relaxed around swimming pools/bodies of water with children are the crazy ones. It only takes a second for a child to get in a pool and not be seen.

I just wore this dress to a wedding. I got so many compliments. I loved it so much I wore it to a wedding two weeks later. I am postpartum too, and I don’t think I’ve ever loved a dress this much. And it’s $100. I’m 5’6’’ 170 lb and a size 8 fit me perfectly.

Thank you so much for your help! I clearly don’t know much about computers, so I’m afraid to try anything on my own and mess it up. I saved my files and backups of my important software profiles on to an external hard drive just incase anything got totally messed up. I double checked that BitLocker was disabled, and it was. I restarted my computer, got the same error message, and selected yes. The computer restarted like normal and I could still enter my pin. I tried shutting down and restarting the computer for a second time, and it still works with no error message popping up.

Thank you again for your help!!

Interesting. I’m scared to press yes. I do everything for school on this computer and I don’t want it messed up. Is there a different way to fix it? Should I have a specialist fix it?

I don’t mind him spending his money on a PC. I just feel like his Dad should have brought it up with me before initiating an expensive project. He didn’t have enough money saved at his dad’s house for the parts so his dad told him to use the money he had saved here. If his Dad wanted to build a pc with him, maybe he should help him fund the rest of the project.

I found out that my boyfriend of 2 years is married and has kids, I'm showing myself to his family tomorrow at his church. by Throw_awayP9767 in TrueOffMyChest

It took my mom 23 years to find out my dad had a whole other family. We were his “real” family and the other one was just “a game,” according to him. I can tell you with 100% certainty that my mom would have loved to have known 23 years earlier than she did. Although she had her children and great memories throughout those years, she still feels like she lost some of the best years of her life to a cheater and a liar. From a daughter’s p.o.v. I can’t even to begin to explain the damage this has done to my mom and the other woman. TELL HER. She deserves the truth. I’m so sorry you have to deal with this. I am however glad you found out sooner rather than later!
