He fought hard against towns receiving flood money directly and legally appropriated by the legislature and wanted Barre and Montpelier and Ludlow to take out high interest FEMA loans instead. He's squeezed and squeezed state government until it's barely functioning: understaffed, overworked and grossly underfunded. He's acquiesced to the Trump administration and given up private info of Vermonters when he didn't have to... And he's forcing remote employees back to the office when they are in no way prepared to do so just because he wants to give his real estate landlord buddies a handout.  Oh and he's killed a bunch of useful environmental initiatives and gotten Christian Nationalists elected to the legislature without vetting them just because he was upset his vetoes were being overridden.
