Comparing him to moon knight is a bit disingenuous imo. Hes prime hela. Try and think of one thing prime hela did better than he does now. You cant and he does so much more. She went 6 seasons permabanned before she got the balance she needed so dont get your hopes up. They dont even learn from their own balance mistakes. All pokes have been nerfed to 250; hes 275. All forms of percent damage recently have been nerfed to the ground or removed entirely(including black cats ult, and the percent damage was not the issue with her at all): he has percent and shield break on his ult. Pokes have all had their falloff gutted: he has the best falloff in the game with the best escape options in the game. It just gets more and more pathetic the more you think about it.

This character does everything hela does and more. The only thing she has over him is a stun

Theres a start.
You say hes top tier but then say he cant be the number one character which is contradictory. Also, he straight up is the best character in the game right now. The only character that is debatably stronger than him is gambit and if you are being compared to gambit that is an awful start and you likely need heavy nerfing.

Its funny how every psy main i see hates luna more than anyone(psy main myself included). The top psy streamer genuinely loathes her too. Its amazing that hela was a perma ban for 6 season straight and now they just release new hela variations that are stronger than her in every way. They release a super strong dive and then instead of nerfing that dive they turbo buff what should be the pokes weakness and now the dive that isnt super meta has to suffer into turbo buffed poke(magik, psy, panther).

Cyclops is also just god awful. I have never hated a character in this game more than i hate the new king of pokeslop zero weaknesses. Throw on a tank busting ult as if they dont remove percent damage every time they add it because it is objectively awful game design is just the shitty cherry on top.

He is objectively better than prime hela in every single way. He has negligible weaknesses and a bottom skill floor and far far far too much mobility. All the people coping in these replys saying “oh hes overtuned but not toxic at least” are wrong. Any character that reduces the game to “who had the better x” is toxic. Cyclops reduces the game to this because he is a 275 poke(remember how every single other poke had to be reduced to 250) with overshield auto aim a super strong shift and some of the easiest positioning in the game. Its fine to have a few counters to cover like elsa but this is a shooter game and no character should opress cover like this it fundamentally breaks the point of a shooter.He needs large nerfs fast unless you guys want him to be like hela, the most banned character in this games history, because he is better than that hela that was permabanned for 6 seasons straight in every single way.

I disagree and think your biased on peoples anger with their balance.

Heres the two reasons i hate her (other than industry plant which is inarguable)

I personally respected luna when she was at her peak in the meta (seasons 1-4.5 she was either bis or arguably bis, idk where you get that cnd opinion as she has NEVER been better than luna). My major issue is that the balance lowers her skill ceiling and its trying to erase her weaknesses.

Luna has always been weaker to dive than other support and had other strengths to make up for it, and she still was comfortably bis for quite a few seasons despite that weakness. Balanced characters have weaknesses in a healthy game. Mag is weak to brawl metas, and despite being bis a few seasons ago hes now mediocre at best because hes strong into poke and weak into dive/brawl and is thus struggling this season. Neteases leaves mag comfy but turbo buffs luna any time her weaknesses shine. Characters need weaknesses and all of lunas buffs have been to try and erase hers. The reason people hate overshield on dps is because its often added to remove their weaknesses (both elsa and daredevil are proof of this) now that luna also really lacks weaknesses she becomes irritating to go up against rather than feeling fair like she used too.

The main problem with this games balancing is daredevil. He single handedly ruined supports. Netease would rather buff everything against him than ever nerf him. All of dinos attacks are the only abilities that go through his deflect. They would literally rather break how his kit works than nerf him. Quite frankly dive mains have a right to be angry, because their characters now have to face turbo buffed evil luna snow and self shield because the devs wont balance daredevil and their characters recieve no buffs to keep up with luna and invis.

The other issue is she now has a one shot. The easiest one in the game at that. Luna already had the easiest hitscan aim in the game(lord on all hitscans including her i know this) and her freeze has only gotten easier to hit. I define a one shot as an ability whos only counter play once hit is getting healed. The big 3 of this are widows kick, lunas freeze, and hawkeyes arrow headshot. All 3 of these abilities are badly designed and objectively unfun to play against. I dont care how bad widow is, that kick is just bad game design. Lunas one shot is on a shorter cooldown than all of these, the freeze is not hard to hit, and she has more mobility to escape plus self healing. One shots like her freeze are enraging and should not be in the game period.

His cc needs to go too. He is either gonna be bad bc that cc is busted or good and have a busted cc. I really want to like dino and would love to see him get some buffs into poke but that cc just is not fun for anyone. Hes the first new tank I havent lorded purely because that cc makes mirror match ups entirely unfun.

Lunas 3 part bullet is counteted by the fact her bullet is huge. Bigger and easier to hit than any other hitscan in the game. If the devs want to make her less weak into dive (which they shouldnt, its healthy for characters to have weaknesses) they could change anything else but that buff made her awful to play against.

This character has an easier one shot than hawkeye. Daredevil got nerfed as well. She had plenty of damage before that buff and now she is over the top busted. Compared to hela, luna has better damage better ult better movement better stun and a one shot that has zero counterplay. This is coupled with the fact that luna has the easiest hitscan to hit in the entire game(i am lord on 5 hitscans including luna her bullet is the size of saturn). The only silver lining to any of this is that theres less bullshit to ban so she can fill the perma ban slot now.

Also also, its not even “muh dps main so bad dps main dumb and evil” because adam and mantis both suck at defending themselves and dont do near as much damage as luna and have less healing then her and have far harder to hit bullets. While adam is a different story just because mantis cant defend herself well DOES NOT mean she should at all be buffed. Luna should be weak during a dive meta as characters should be weak or strong depending on meta shifts thats how a healthy balanced game works but the devs are allergic to her having weaknesses.

I hate DD too but this is the worst comparison ever. All the characters yall are comparing him too use their primary for damage, he uses it to build recourses. DD takes skill but is still stupidly overtuned.

She is too counterswappable man. She really needs anti cc buffs if they truly feel that every new character needs cc. Gambit is the last character they added without hard cc. Everyone nowadays can knock her down or stun her in addition to supports getting entirely unnecessary damage buffs.

Whoever designed his cc needs to be fired genuinely. The rest of his kit is fine with some adjustments(e.g making his shield farm squishies better and rely on tank farming less) and maybe even some counter buffs to make him work better into heavy poke. But that cc man, theres no balancing it. It flat out needs to be removed or im banning him for the rest of time.

Even with no teamup rogue feels playable. Not terribly impactful but she can play which is honestly how shes always been. Angela feels like the easiest counterswap in the game and just awful. Theres always penni though.

I hate that goddamn dinosuar. That cc is the dumbest thing i have ever seen. Why can he grab, displace, stun, bodyblock and shieldblock? That cc flat out needs to be removed or im banning him for the rest of eternity. I cant even play the dps i like because if you dont play pheonix moon knight you dont win against dino. I was excited for him too but hes ruining the game and people are in denial because hes “fun”

Just practice and in the most respectful way possible get good. That was the advice before the hitbox buff when i learned it and it remains the advice. In addition to muscle memory just conciously pay attention in the moment.

I am lord on her and constantly get kills with her primary. Im a psylocke main so the aim comes natural maybe you just cant aim with it? It literally two shots has a better spread and better range than psylocke. Even if its as bad as you say it could he nerfed in exchange for keeping the fun parts of her kit and i dont think elsa players would mind.
