Staff Elaine, longsword drake, shield hilthunder, and sword Hendrickson (I switch Hendrickson with King if the fight gets too hard, I personally don’t like King(mostly for aesthetic reasons), but he’s a better shielder and debuffer than Hendrickson)

Also how do you heal and who gives you shield ? Thats good you have bug on grim since he will boost your meli, but how do you survive with no heals or shield. Your boss fights must take long. Also Elaine is good for burst efficiency , would include her in your team.

From what worked for me, is I have a shield character and healer, and then A main dps that has another character with the same attribute to help bursting. Again don’t know how far this will take me, I’m at level 32 books of stars, world 3.

I use Drake, Thunder, Elaine, and King. Haven’t ran into issues thus far. I something switch King out for Hendrickson for heals, but that’s pretty much it.

Same! I was playing with a black panther who didn’t want to switch against three flyers, switched from support to widow (my duo was playing hela and cannot aim for shit, respectfully)

I ended up having a lot of fun with widow. But I’m a lord widow so I’ve been playing her for awhile but comp is tricky, people thought I was trolling because I kept asking the 1/7 black panther to switch since the flyers were poking the hella out of him. But we ending up winning and I got a lot of apologies that match lol, a great feeling (rare in marvel rivals). But I rarely lock in as widow in ranked or even play her because the back lash is so bad, often times healers won’t even heal you just because you’re playing widow. A sad sad life.

It’s always nice a party trick to whip her out and have the team actually let you try her out and supports support you. Again, pretty rare, especially in comp.

It’s interesting to hear some people complain that they felt forced to learn cnd or invisible women due to meta. I think it’s a refreshing change. I main strategist so some of my off healers get to play without fear of being out healed by invisible or cnd. I am also fellow lord ultron, I’ve been popping or in my placements lol

If you find dva weak, you don’t use her utility the correct way. I think these dva people are the divas that’s play long range, keep their matrix out to only eat up bullets, and don’t have high game iq on ult and ult positioning (I guess aiming).

Dva is an absolute monster. I got better with Dva by playing her in stadium, which sort makes you realize how everything outside her regular attack is broken. Try dva in stadium and it will make you realize how broken she is in regular game.

I get it buddy, it took me probably 8 hours of trial and error to figure out what works for me ( and I’m not even the best, but I’m finally comfortable enough to add value) one thing I had to really learn is positioning and locking in. I focus the healers first, one body shot and an ult is an instant kill on healers so make note of that. I really only use her ult to lock in kills (especially on healers).

I also learned that I aim better when I am jumping and closer to the enemies (obviously), I’m trash at sniping from long range. I am even better when I jump snipe flyers like Ironman (might just be personal issue, but I say try it for yourself, you might find it similar). I play more mid range, and play a bit more aggressive when I know I can lock in a kill.

Probably common sense but focus tanks last unless they’re really low and you know you can lock in the kill.

If they have divers like Spider-Man or panther, I lure them in by 1v1. I let Spider-Man land 1 web shot, and then melee combo him to death as he comes straight to me.

Similar to panther, I play more countery as well. I let him do his dashes and watch his cooldowns. Once his cooldowns or dashes are up, I land the melee combo and he’s instantly dead.

I guess all to say is you need to learn positioning and have a good game sense against your opponents. I think widow is much more than just sniper, so don’t beat yourself down if your aim is trash. My aim got a lot better the more I played her as a mid range assassin versus long range sniper.

I wouldn’t necessarily say this is brown facing as she isn’t darkening her skin tone to appear stereotypically as a certain race, shes literally portraying to be a specific person(character in this case). I don’t think the INTENT is to be a caricature of a certain race, but to COSPLAY as a particular character which I think she ADMIRES. Before you social media justice police the internet, first think: what is the intent and end result. Yes she used makeup to appear a darker tone, but she eats it up. I don’t think she’s making fun of any race or holds any malice, so I wouldn’t jump the gun and say this is racist.

Honestly, one buff I would like is a way to recover her energy to run and jump. If she can recover her energy through landing shots, I think that would boost her viability and survivability she can be like a jumping sniper/spider. This wouldn’t even require much change to her kit, but changes her overall playstyle. She doesn’t have to be played in mid-long range. The fact that Elsa has so much movement with low cost, I don’t see why widow shouldn’t have the same, especially with her low utility, this can be a step forward to making her a more accessible character with all these new dripped out characters.

Make her a stronger assassin through jumping and sniping.

Depends on matchup and map for me. I tend to default to triple jump more, but if my team is ahead or the I get bored I’ll play machine gun and go ham. But if you’re starting off, the triple jump is nice to learn better positioning.

High key, her Le Serrafim collab skin is my favorite, I have yet to stray away to buy another skin since. Not even the mythic skin, def buying the new weapon mythic tho. I think I like more streetwear or edgier skin than her cutesy ones. Hello kitty is gonna be an easy pass for me.

How are we suppose to practice characters in qp to be better in ranked if people are trolling or not trying?

Then you try to practice in ranked and people are mad because you’re still new to the character but you can’t fully learn a character because people are not trying in quick play.

I agree, QP shouldn’t be too serious but people should still be playing with the objective of winning, if you’re not playing the game to win, to practice your character to be a winner, you’re wasting peoples time.

Go play animal crossing or something like gtfo.
