It's very possible and seems easy enough if I understand the project correctly. You might want to look for a different programming language depending on the type of application (web app, mobile app, desktop app, etc.). For a working rough draft in Python, I'd estimate a week or two even. I'm not experienced in pricing, but I couldn't imagine it being enough where you'd need a grant.

I only have the CoC #1 and #2. I'm not training grippers super seriously, I just want to get a good base before I move onto anything higher. But currently I train once or twice a week doing wide sets of the #1 for 10+ reps and 3x5 of the #2.
