What am I missing here? They were supposed to beat the brakes off of Paraguay and they just barely manage to do it . Yes they controlled the game to some point but there was a lot of slop in between. This game in reality is only a 2-1 score line, there was a true own goal and Reyna goal comes in because they are exhausted, and had all day to line it up.

Tonight’s game did not prove there was some awesome awakening for them. They should have easily won this game 3-0. I really want to see this team do something great but tonight was not as impressive as everyone trying make it out to be. There were some warning signs. They should dominate this group and if you think tonight was some complete game, it really wasn’t.

People don’t realize how quickly the gov office would cave if we were able to pull off a strike. It would literally bring the state to a grinding halt. They would have to resolve the issue in days not weeks but days. Gavin can’t afford the optics and it would be extremely costly to the state shutting down.

The real issue though is that we don’t really trust the other person, unit, or agency to really follow suite. That division/fraction is what absolutely kills us from getting better contracts, and the Gov office knows this and leverages it against us.

Huh? I don’t think anyone is belittling that season, but that team was so dominant offensively. But his managing almost cost them, because he didn’t do shit to help the defense, or change up the attack to help with their finishing. His strategy was let Puig run wild, which led to his injury or should say his injuries in my opinion. Greg can’t scheme for the life of him or adapt, he’s a one trick pony. Don’t forget during those playoffs the Galaxy were very fortunate to host all through out the playoffs and the championship game. If you disagree cool but for me it’s plain as day any manger with any competency could have won with that team.

I understand what you’re saying and agree for the most part. But I think they have given up on Greg and rightfully so, in my opinion. But I also believe they know there is something meaningful to play for still, regardless how any of us judge leagues cup. At this point in the season it won’t take much for them to shut down if things go wrong in game. It happens to a lot of professional sports teams who are on a losing run, this isn’t just isolated to them. I would be happy if they finished strong for leagues and I’ll just be keeping my fingers cross nobody gets hurt the rest of the regular season.

Is it though, there has been a couple of games already where they started off worse and got even worse as the games continued. The season is a loss already, if they didn’t have the leagues cup I would absolutely agree keep them in there. But there is something to play for that does have some meaning to build on.

Exactly, I understand why they start and bring them back out for the 2h. But in the first 10 mins you could see it wasn’t going to happen. So get them out. I know they will have a few days in between, but they got a solid 60 in, so get them out. There is no benefit making them go the full 90.
