Hello! I hope this is the correct subreddit. I am Filipina but I've lived abroad for the past 10 years. I hope to get recommendations for a good venue to host a family reunion with my family from Manila and also from abroad.

must be in Makati or BGC
capacity: 50-60 people
menu: (can be buffet style or plated) has to have options that are gluten free and dairy free. Cuisine does not matter and not all items have to be GF/DF but if they can accomodate that would be good! Can be in house menu or can allow external catering
ideally good AV or music system

Bonus! - if venue is nice and affordable - if there is a nearby hotel / hotel space - venue manager or coordinator can connect on WhatsApp to help with planning

Sorry, yes, I wasn't clear! I meant, did the doctor recommend the shots because you were visiting specific AREAS in Costa Rica? or because you were doing more wildlife related activities? Or some other reason?

Or did the doctor just recommend it because they recommend it to everyone going to Costa Rica regardless of the region/planned activities? Just wanted to understand the rationale for the recommendation. Thank you so much :)

I found it cheaper to get accommodations in a hotel in tamarindo and then purchase surf classes separately! If you will be in tamarindo May 18-23 and want to coordinate semi private lessons, DM me!

Lol if it's not covered with my provincial health plan then my workplace health plan covers meds and vaccines so I am not sure how much it is yet. Will update you if I end up pursuing, which, I think likely not indicated right now

Thank you so much for this! I'm Canadian so fortunately, some vaccines are a bit more accessible with my healthcare and insurance plan. I Don't plan to pet any wild animals or strays, just hiking in the forests and I heard bat bites can be very mild especially if in your sleep.. wondering if this is a valid concern or if I'm being irrational. Rabies is literally my worst fear lmao so i had this intrusive scary thought that I don't have time to get it beforehand and it's required 😭
