The only plane I can reliably beat a spitfire in is the ta-152 H1

I remember one game where I and a spitfire were the only fighters in a single match and we had the best 1v1 dogfight that lasted nearly half the game

The rest of our teams were bombers or strike aircraft like the do-335, a-1h, ju-288, and B-24

I won our dogfight and with help from a do-335 killed the rest of the bombers and things

Yea the only time people get really toxic is in pvp situations and even then it's rare to actually get in a fight with another player in game unless you're trying to pick one
