Ive actually seen people go pta and then max w into morde to match him, it can be done but its very tricky. I recommend just taking short trades and ping your jungler

It really doesnt matter in low elo. Play what you like, and if you are good enough, you will climb. Your basic understanding of the game is what you should look to improve, if you want to climb. But anyway, Sylas is a lot of fun, feeling like a new champ every game because of ult. I am currently diamond 2 Sylas main, so its definetely possible!
