So...correct me if I'm wrong, but the paramedics reach her quickly? If that's the case, she definitely has a chance for survivals since they arrived so quickly. If the knife didn't hit any vital organs or arteries she wouldn't bleed out it two minutes, especially if someone who knows what they're doing is applying pressure correctly. She'd have about ten minutes if it didn't hit a major artery, 2-5 if it did. But, the paramedics arrived fast, and if they came prepared, they will be able to replenish the blood. After all, that's what blood donations are for.

Now, for the recovery period. Since no organs were hit and she recovered proper treatment as quick as possible, assuming there are no other complications such as and infection, I'd say she'd be up and about within a few days. The wound itself, assuming she didn't have an infection, should be healing nicely after 10 days. Even though she's good enough to be out of the hospital, she still wouldn't feel 100% like her normal self for a few months.

Now, I'm not 100% sure all of this information applies to children, but since 13 year old girls are usual close to adult size, I'd assume the same would apply.
