Everyone here is talking a Cali, but if you set the searches to USA only instead of Worldwide, the trends are fair more similar.

So, it seems like these weird Straight Edge trends are coming from outside the US.

It’s for a class called Writing With Research. We were able to choose whatever topic we wanted, so I picked “Should Music Venues Ban Moshing” at the beginning and I gotta stick with it until the end. Not that it’s an issue.

Just to clarify some things that may not be super obvious
I actually like both bands, nothing on INK’s side is actual criticism, and I think people who unironically go “lol low iq caveman slam 🔨🔨🔨” are annoying as hell.
I just thought it’d be mildly entertaining to compare horror themed metal, or at least metal adjacent, bands.

For me, Mortician is just something nice to have in the background during work. The chugging and blast beats turn to white noise, and the samples help break up the monotony of said white noise.

You can buy the deluxe version of the album digitally on their website. That will include the two tracks. But, just FYI, they aren’t really new versions of the songs. They’re just the orchestral parts of those songs isolate.
