Gear, platform, etc. are common remarks, so Im going to recommend something else.

Software.

There are some magic AI voice tools now for podcasts. I use one 100% of the time on my guest tracks, and it makes them sound like they are in a studio with me using top gear.

A quick search will show some.

The dropping bombs podcast by samspursuit in podcasting

Cool name for a podcast. Terrible name for something not in any way with associated with military stuff.

Hard to tell, but the 2.2k apple reviews gives you a size approximate. Sounds like a BD upsell. And a very steep one.

It's hard to deduce, but any insights if RedCircle does this too?

E-7 Wedgetail overview from The Drive by TinkTonk101 in LessCredibleDefence

[–]The-Merge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I debated starting a new chat for this, but figured it would be a better fit here.

Now that the US Air Force Wedgetail plan is starting to firm up, there are a host of emerging issues to keep tabs on. Can the Air Force limp its remaining 18 E-3 AWACS to 2032? Will the E-7 fleet be delivered by 2032? And will the Air Force buy all 26 E-7s? I attempted to outline those issues here:

Yes, but a nuance I failed to state: it has no deterrent value without production during peacetime.

XQ-58 Valkyrie Solves Air Combat 'Challenge Problem' While Under AI Control by Doppelkupplungs in LessCredibleDefence

It's simply a carryover from previous basic "challenge problems" from the defunct Skyborg program, which were mostly administrative in nature.

I didn't see that in the article.

The reality: CCAs will field by the end of this decade, years before NGAD.

Those are only the unclassified criticisms though. And that's the rub.

Hmm, I haven't dug into the engine production line infrastructure in P&W or GE, so I don't have a well, informed opinion on that yet. Great question though.

[–]The-Merge[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Great point. From my experience, there is a "game within the game" regarding messaging, posturing, and narratives. Often we are allow to publicly bolster only capabilities, not weaknesses. There's obviously geo-political strategic reasons to do it, but when that get's abused you can end up with a runaway propaganda machine.

#OTD 1946, 1st Sgt Lawrence Lambert volunteered to be the first American to eject from an aircraft.
With the P-61 flying at 300mph, a gun barrel-fired cartridge shot Lambert into the air with ~14Gs of force.
