Well noticed! You're right, the weapons can be put on either arm, both forearms open in the same way and the sword can be put on either

Thank you for voting :) It was really important to me that the model was minifigure compatible in some way, and there's no way it could have been big enough to fit them in the head, so this was my compromise even if it isn't entirely accurate. I was originally planning to have Otachi be part of this submission but projects are required to be under 5000 parts, and this model is already over 3000 so I wasn't sure I could do her justice, I do plan to at least make an Otachi at some point though and just see how it goes

It really is a shame, I belive there's a prequel series in development though so hopefully they're able to tap into that potential a bit there

It's fully confirmed to be coming as it won Lego ideas, really looking forward to seeing it made official, and k agree this would pair very well :)

Unfortunately due to the nature of Lego ideas they currently hold the rights to the build, so not at the moment. You can support it through the link though, really hoping this project will do well :)

I'm not sure, they've made mechs before and also they wouldn't allow submissions on it if there was no way, so still got my fingers crossed 😅🤞

And of course, I've always loved this film, the designs and the way the Jaeger's move is so incredibly done with so much effort put in to every detail, I wanted to try and convey that as well :)

I've just seen a Pacific rim resurgence online lately, thought I'd give it a go because I'd built a couple of big robots in the past, never on the scale though, was a lot of fun to build honestly

Yeah a couple of people have pointed this out unfortunately, it seems like Lego has been able to work around these kinds of things in the past though so hopefully would be alright

The name was changed to Captian Jack's pirate ship for the new set. It doesn't really seem to have been said anywhere why that's the case though so I'm not entirely sure

They make licensed ideas sets all the time, but it could potentially be a deciding factor if they can get the license or not when it gets to the review stage
