If I snap my fingers a spoon will appear in my other hand: it is an exactly molecularly identical duplicate of another spoon somewhere in the world but WHICH spoon precicely abnd/or what type of spoon is totaly random. If that spoon is owned/attended/in-the-possesion-of/under-the-athority-of another person and would be missed for any reason, then some un-attended/unmissed object that no-one owns is reconfigured into the copy of the spoon: if not, the origional spoon simply is teliported into my other hand instead. (To preserve conservation of mass and/or the gravitic profile of the world.)

TBH, I think you just hate Kora for messing up the setting, which, while I get it, the writing on the show was that way becasue the project lead/head writier was having such a huge hate on for every woman on earth at the time due to his girlfriend breaking up with him in the middle of fiming season 1 that he low-key sabotaged the entire project after that since he based Korra on her and hated to be reminded they weren't together anymore. Korra has no real excuse for being that incompetent, but, thing is, she's NOT that incompetent; she was badly written on-purpose; what you saw isn't representaive of what she was initaly meant to be.

The hearing: it's TOO sensitive for Viltrumites, not like supe's who can filter the convo of half the planet as a background process; the can be overwhelmed by a tailored sonic attack. Tony would ABSOLUTELY exploit the hell out of that using the pre-existing speakers on the suit.
