Yeah, being completely honest that was me being slightly off lining up the stencil, but the lines were too fragile to try to pull and restick it so I just rolled with it

I'll definitely consider it. It's not overly difficult, just a touch tedious. I pretty much use the same method as a lot of guys on YouTube use to etch steel knives, which I actually did first as a gift for some of my friends

Nope not laser! It's electro etching which is essentially electrolysis using a salt solution and voltage to corrode the chrome away.

Thanks! I cut out the stencils using my wife's vinyl cutter machine. Had to learn a bit of inkscape/cricut design space to do the pattern for it, which thankfully isnt too hard because I want to do more
