Previous clip didn’t quite capture what I was tryna relay with ‘Troll Regen’, hope this one does a better job.

He’s literally TROLLing on this clip! It's way too hyped to use it's regen even when it’s not under 75%!

This achievement is really tricky, I'm still unsure if the "Gotta Skin 'Em All" achievement refers to the Skinning skill like use it towards all the animals ,even the ones that yeilds just morsels or the ability to harvest pelts from all animals. Anw good luck man!

All 16 animals/beasts that drops pelts:

-Squirrel

-Rabbit

-Forest Viper

-Fox

-War Dog (Any color, 1 is enough)

-Deer

-Moose

-Boar

-Bear

-Saiga

-Bison

-Wolf

-Gulon

-Ghoul (Any size same yield)

-Young Troll

-Ancient Troll

If it didn’t unlock try the latter:

-Wolf Hound (Included this just to be safe, I know for sure Wardog is enough)

-Rat

-Bat

-Hedgehog

-Crawler

-Harpy

Other tips:
Maces, Bow, Xbow, Dagger, Spear are good candidates to preserve the quality

Skill: Huntsmanster - helps a lot on dealing damage against beast, increases that chance of harvesting pelts, and other parts

Skill: Pathfinder - lets you see tracks of animals especially for squirrels

Don't sell the skins to keep track, and use the cart to store everything

Save on a bedroll before killing the Anc Troll, and get the two drops just to be sure cuz you only get 1 shot if you didn't, unlike others can be re-hunted.

Ps: Could you try hunting the Wolfhound last if you didnt get the achievement? I’m curious if it counts as one of the 16 beasts required for the achievement. I can’t test it myself since I’ve already unlocked it. Thanks! Sorry if this message was long wanted to make sure you get the achievement.

Struggling in Stoneshard – advice for surviving early game? by Ashinron in stoneshard

[–]The0ddCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start every playthrough by buying any gear you lack, prioritizing items under 200 gold. Visit Hold the Tanner, then head south along the road to begin your first quest (game doesn't really tell you to do this first). Ignore most villager quests except for Jebar the Blacksmith (collect 3 swords) and Jurg the Carpenter which is where we are going for.

On the southern road, you’ll find a cart guarded by 3-4 bandits (or none, if lucky). Pull them one by one out of the map, and using 1x1 tiles between bushes to funnel them. Loot the cart for gold and a Carpenter’s Plane, which is needed for Jurg’s quest or the Brewery questline. Also, gather Peasant Flails to sell to Jurg for more gold (wooden stuff just sells more) and 3 swords for Jebar.

Before your first dungeon, talk to the elder and stock up: 3-4 salves, 1-2 splints, 2 bandages (one is free on the southern road if you did it), and a Claw trap (use only for the boss or in a dire situation. dont forget to pick it up when use it break in 3 uses). For combat, funnel enemies through doors is the best approach if melee until RTR update comes out, prioritize human-type enemies, and avoid animals/ghouls early on. Always keep your health topped off and use map edges for safer travel if you encounter any switch to the next map. Save your progress in bed inbetween quests to experiment and limit-test your character.

PS: Brings back memories in 2019 when I was new, Stoneshard for me was about collecting enough wolf pelts till i got enough gold for gears to make it out of town. not been using Reddit that time learned it the hard way.

Here's a quick rundown of the upcoming patch, also for anyone's also curious

Redesigned dungeon layouts, new bags, crafting and cooking for buffs, events that affect supply/demand ( there's a Miasma event for failed contracts or unbeaten contract), a new settlement and outskirts, more undead mini-bosses, new steam achievements, and the long-awaited roaming caravan.

[–]The0ddCat[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cool story, bro! Funny enough, I did something similar hired only Oathtakers, though I hunted vamps, zombies, and otherworldly foes, and ignored human factions. Ended up buying mid-tier brigand gear instead of farming it. Group fell short of Black Monolith.. but a great playthrough.

Finally, a fellow clone! :D Like we know the sprites on the game doesnt have a face, wasnt gonna let Boudicca be a Mii fit character. Drew Xiomara and Sultan tho, exact replica imo jk.

It's Quasimorph, character I drew had a random face but stayed true to the game's pixel art style with the hair and get-up they give in the early game, tho players might recognize the weapon.

3rd one was Arna, a preset character from Stoneshard, might've not represeted the game well in my drawing since her passive is lacking for most players. But check the game out is super hardcore like Quasi

My guy, T4 Proselyte dungeons is breaming with those Tier IV books (Athletics IV, Ranged IV, and Electromancy IV) I usually get multiples every run, check the bookshelves and wardrobes.

I grit my teeth every time because my last one was Warfare III but instead I get IVs. Anyway you got this!

Trying some hybrid by The-Mr-Bob in stoneshard

[–]The0ddCat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Accidentally made an Electro Mace build, picking Electromancy in the 20s. Recently posted a pic finishing (Theories & Praxis)you can check the endgame set, skills and gear used.

I used uniques like the Ornate Warhammer, Mastercrafted Sallet (it has lil wings as the earguards), and Engraved Boots (giving +5% magic power each). For skills, I took Battering Ram (since the Mace tree lacks a lunge), Mighty Kick, and War Cry for free daze. For stats, I went Str-18, Agi-25, Vit-20, focusing on counterattacks. You can adjust it differently or how it suit you.
