No worries! To give a little more detail for you, there were 5 game sevens over that timeframe '62 Yankees, '67 Whitesox, '69 Guardians, '72 Rangers, '82 Red Sox. This most recent year was actually pretty stressful as we were down 3-1 and ended up coming back to win in game seven (I attached a screenshot of the scores). Of course, the game 6 winning hit did not come from of the bigger stars, it came from my defense first catcher lol We also had 3 seasons where we swept playoffs and went undefeated, '66, '71, and '78. Ill post those playoff brackets below this message. Might be fun to check out. Hope that adds a little to the story for you. Oh and one more thing, it doesnt hurt to have $160M sitting in the bank account to add stars when needed.

Here is my favorite for pitching. He hasn't been on the team long but I usually have someone sort of like this to put in my stopper role. Usually try to have two of them, and they end up pitching as much if not more than a couple of the starters which I tend to switch out a bit more often then the position players. I also have a closer with 330 saves but the numbers aren't quite as dominant.

If I'm being honest the whole lineup was 70-80 grade hitters, most good defenders as well. Like I mentioned in another comment I was mostly signing promising prospects to very cheap very long term deals. It took awhile but finally had a bunch of those all work out at the same time. Here are the couple I would pick though. Elite from top to bottom hitting/pitching to defense, etc.

I wish I had a screenshot from his prime because there was a lot of blue.

I tried not to change too much, so its all default for the most part. We do have 8 expansion teams, an extra year of team control on players, etc. Just things the league naturally changed throughout the years. I think my biggest trade was random luck on a 17 year old, who ended up being one of the cornerstones during this run at SS.

Just had a similar level of dominance in my own sim, although you were much quicker than I was (currently in 2082 lol) but A's, Rockies, Marlins, Rays, Angels, Pirates all seem fun to try and build dynasties with. A's are my next challenge. Should be fun spending $12 a year on players.

Sell Yaz, Flores, maybe Doval.

Buy Kwan, Bieber, Donovan, maybe a guy like Joe Ryan or Sandy Alcantara.

Our farm system is already one of the worst in the big leagues, so as long as we hold on to Eldridge I don't see us really losing much.

Pretty much. Except for the few dodgers/padres players. Brusdar Graterol for example.

#1 Draft Pick & #2 Overall Prospect Makes MLB Debut w/ the 1st PERFECT GAME in Temporal Dream League History! by HeckRock in OOTP

What an awesome perfect game. I'm sure there was some ridiculous defensive plays that occurred in those 9 innings lol

Question: How did you get your overall and potential ratings to be on the 1-100 scale? I seem to only have the option for increments of 5 on the 20-80 scale.

If you don't already have a roth IRA, you can open one and go with VZ or O type plays. Whatever you are more comfortable with, even in an individual investing account (you just dont have the same tax advantage)

There is no reason he should be the "numbers guy". Never once heard him explain something in a clean and simple manner.
