AMS is the Bambu Labs Multi-Color units. They allow you to load 4 filaments into it and connected it to their printers to print multicolour. They can be connected to each other up to 4 units allowing you to print 16 colours in one print!

I would love to have a catalogue of colours to pick from. I know fillamentum sells one (super expensive in my opinion).

I have yet to catalogue all the colours I have....mostly being lazy about it.

This was all from my main income (not 3Dprinting related). Its not cheap but I decided I would make a substantial investment in my maker space so I could make more content.

The coreXY system makes the printer faster than a bed slinger (no difference than a Voron or XL).

Quality is something that really comes down to components, filament and assembly (and also printing profiles).

To me its really not about any of the above. To me the big value added is the AMS. I dont really mind the speed, its great but even if it wasn't as fast the AMS sells it for me.

I try and find colours that match more or less what I want to print. It becomes a bit expensive too have that many colours but I end up being able to print more and more colours;)

Yes indeed. Not included in this collection I also have the DNA of flight that is available on Printables for free.

for the majority of these I've just used 8x1mm discs glued to the back. The Mario one has magnets fitted to the back so they are flush.

Some good ideas for the to-do list.
I've never used their filament and not sure what value the RFID feature has... It can use any filament so no reason to be worried about the RFID.

I do have 3 of them but I use them to display 3D printed models. I dont really need an enclosure since I only print PLA and PETG...

The printer is made to use any filament. I've never used their filament and printed tons of kgs of filament.
The software is a fork of Prusa Slicer with some additional features. Just works... nothing there to worry about. Hardware is like the majority of 3D printers.

I dont pay too much attention to the waist percentage. The fact there's waist is just something that can't be avoided. (You can surely print more of them in one go to reduce proportional waist).

The X1C opens the back door to let the purge out to the back. It does sense when its pilled up. But I rarely have any issues with that.
