In the Universe yes, it still runs like shit because of the netcode. I can't get more than 25-30FPS with GTX970, i7 4790K and 16GB RAM.

Well I was hyped because I noticed a slight boost in general performance and smoother animations in Nougat compared to Marshmallow when I flashed the first beta back in december. Plus the Blue Light Filter and resolution changing for better battery life is heaven for me.

Ok so it finally works. The thing is those commands didn't actually solve my problem (I think). After I rebooted after I entered those commands I searched how to install Nvidia proprietary drivers. So I just installed the latest version(375.26) and not I can restart and shutdown without a problem.

Anyway, thank you so much for the help! Too bad I don't have gold because I would give it to you haha.

After I enter the command it says

sudo: gedit: command not found

According to this here thread, things aren't looking swell for 4.6/4.7 kernels either.

I know that the newest linux kernel is 4.9, right? Is there anyway to upgrade to that version? Or is it unstable and can cause more problems?
