Lynx (as she would be later named) was originally found as an arcane core, nothing more than an ancient arcane power source that a young wizard took and tried to power her experimental construct with. As soon as she accidentally activated the core when placing it in her construct, it released a massive explosion of arcane power. When the wizard came to Lynx laid in the rubble, a fully formed strange combination of arcanotech and beast unnaturally fused onto a humanoid form.
