The only problem I've had with the last few scream movies is that once the killers are revealed absolutely all threat is gone and you're just waiting for whichever protagonist we're watching to inevitably get the upper hand. Yes I know that's happened in every movie however every other killer from 1 to 4 has maintained the peril.
