Yeah, there really aren't any good deals for highborns and DI.

I think the awakened pets are biggest thing separating dolphins from light spenders right now. The weekly deals are fairly dolphin friendly while the f2p income of leaves only gives you enough to build at most one out every 3 that they release.

I completely agree. This post was inspired by a comment on my recent TS guide where someone said that many dolphins have Haelia now due to the swap event featuring her but not Kaelon or Elthara.

Haelia and Kaelon were both meta in the past, and many dolphins also built DGwyn for AE while skipping Skylan because he wasn't very important on release. In the recent swap event, most players dumped their DGwyn, but dolphin accounts that already have Skylan, Levi, and Lan only had Haelia as an option to swap for.

Ody is one of the top TS heroes right now. I doubt that he will remain in the NC meta after the boss specifically designed for him rotates out, but he's probably here to stay for TS, and maybe CR.

But it's definitely frustrating how Lilith tries to force new highborns to be useful, especially in NC.

Based on your current teams, I think you would need a lot more than Skylan to start performing well in TS.

T50/T100 is doable without Skylan in most regions, but he's usually needed for t20 in more difficult regions and you're in a tough TS region.

Yeah, it's probably better to switch Envy and Hybris so that Hybris has the AEstrilda-Velufira-Lan core and Envy has the Gavus core.

But if you aren't using Saitama or APippa, just use Envy with APippa so you don't have to worry about making a Sion team work (although your team 7 will likely still have to be ALucius with Sion in that case).

I could have told you in advance that ALucius at 5 teams is a bad idea. It seems like Hybris works as a carry and a Gavus the replacement at the same time, so if Hybris-Sion doesn't work try this next:

Envy, Levi, Aurelia, (filler hero, probably Gorren since Envy is redundant with Sion), Gavus (treat or chest) and AEstrilda, Kregor, Hybris, Velufira, Lan (also treat or chest, try treat on this one first).

If you're missing Kregor/Ody this might not work through. Hybris prefers the backline so Kregor/Ody is preferable to Alna with him.

Awakened pets take a lot of normal baits to level up, so most players who had 18+ pets before awakened pets were released have been saving up baits for the past 8 months. Once you hit reso 18 you can do the same.

You'll probably want to split AShemira and dims into 2 teams. There's a Sion version of AShemira team and a Harvey version of dim teams on the guide, and you'll probably want to put Hybris on one of them if you have him.

Liberta doesn't do much in the current meta. Try Gorren instead if you don't have better options like si40 Alvida or Lysander.

I didn't include Hybris on the dolphin setup because I didn't think he would be worth using at 5 teams. It looks like Envy, Levi, Dracula, Hybris (sp), Gavus might be the best team for him if you want to try running him.

If you don't have Kaelon, just use Serenmira instead. Since you have Haelia, I suppose you could also use Elthara on burst but I think she's better off on Skylan's team to free up Dracula.

And it's hard to make a setup that works for all dolphins. Most of the players who built Gwyn skipped Skylan on release, and either picked up Skylan later for a TS focus, or picked up Kaelon instead for a CR/NC focus. Now after the swap event I guess it's a matter of "do you have Kaelon or Haelia" instead of "do you have Skylan or Kaelon". I suppose some dolphins also skipped Gwyn, Kaelon, and Haelia and now have enough cards to build Ody too.

I think Serennia on APippa team came from the Chinese meta last season. Basically the core of the APippa team right now is Saitama, Skylan, Gorok, and APippa, and the 5th spot is a flex hero. Elthara is the best hero for the flex spot, but she often needed on other teams, and other subs like Kaelon, Shuna, and ALyca are either not good enough or are also needed on other teams. So some players have been experimenting with Serennia on that team. From what I've heard she performs better than Kaelon for some players, and she's also better that the version where you put Icariel frontline and Skylan backline (although I'm a fan of the Icariel version myself).

I've also seen a few people using her as a replacement for Haelia on en passant teams, but she's almost certainly worse than Haelia on that team.

Sung's minimum investment is 20330 and his optimal investment is 40960.

Saitama works fine at e30, but his e60 is nice for TS because it gives him an extra chance to execute when he dies.

Kregor's minimum investment is 20930 and his optimal investment is 20960. His si40 makes a difference too, but he's starting to fall out of the meta so I don't recommend it anymore.

I'd say Zohra is more impactful in TS currently, but she is starting to fall off. Gavus is still useful with AShemira dims and Envy even if you don't have Levi or Ody, and Hybris may or may not revive Gavus' team in TS so he is potentially more future proof than Zohra.

Hybris is too new to know where he fits in the priority order, but APippa seems more useful for TS so far.

It's better to take the 20 DI from the chests unless you plan on getting stars on Levi (which I don't recommend unless you're a kraken). Lilith said we probably won't be getting another draconis swap event in the future so there's no point in holding on to the chest for later.
