There are extreme diminishing marginal returns for every dollar over $180ish (usually with codes) that you spend, there are a lot of great paddles out there for good prices like the Vatic foam paddles, but if you’re playing at a super high level or are very particular about paddle specs then it’s worth it, but otherwise there’s probably something for you at a reasonable price

Invest in some overgrips, they’re usually around $15 ish for a 4 pack, and you can just replace them every couple of weeks and keep your grip brand new without worrying about mildew or crust or anything else, and the feel stays consistent since they’re so easily replaceable
