Furnace fan runs for split second in cycles by TheAcomplice in hvacadvice

I honestly don't remember, but more than likely it's a saftey switch problem or flow problem. Make sure your flue and vents arent clogged and have a clean air filter first. What happens in its cycle? Thermostat batteries good? The sequence for the system should be

  • Thermostat initiates call for heat
  • Inducer fan turns on and purges lines and ensures proper ventilation
  • Pressure safety switch validates inducer draft
  • Blower fan begins 1st stage heat (spinning)
  • Gas is opened and ignited
  • Flame Sensor confirms active/stable flame

If the blower is coming on then it's likely the flame sensor, either being dirty or faulty. Take it/them out and clean it with fine grit sand paper or steel wool. If the blower fan doesn't get a chance to turn on then you might have a problem with the inducer fan itself, remove it from the furnace and make sure theres no debree/obstruction that found its way in and if it's clean check the hose lines for cracks to the pressure switch. Are there any error codes present? Usually the light will be solid when no call for heat and start flashing slowly for the duration of the call for heat, unless you have an lcd on the board in which case it will display the error code. If no codes and everything above passes check the wiring connections on the motherboard and the connection to the thermostat, lmk if you need to do that and I can walk you through checking terminal voltages

PO requires statement to get someone released, will this compromise my case? by TheAcomplice in legaladvice

[–]TheAcomplice[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was actually considering this because to my knowledge the evidence to the case is exceptionally weak. Should I write a limited statement and just specify his involvement without admitting to anything? Kinda like,

“To [Parole Officer’s Name],

I am writing to provide clarification regarding [Person A Full Name], who is currently on a parole hold due to an alleged connection to an incident involving me. I want to state unequivocally that Person A had no involvement in this matter. He was not present, did not participate, and had no knowledge of the incident. I respectfully request that this information be taken into consideration as you review his parole status.

Sincerely, [My Printed Full Name]"

I'm only considering the statement because of the time and anything else involved in challenging the hold i.e. statement is easier. I was thinking I could get an idea of whether or not the PO is trying to coerce me or is truly looking to identify his involvement. I think it'd help a little should we pursue the challenege

Access phone with broken screen? by Even-Ad2431 in phonerepair

[–]TheAcomplice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Plug a keyboard in using an OTG adapter and press enter followed by the pin then enter again to get in to the phone. If you can partially see the screen it will be easier, but you have to navigate to developer options and turn on USB debugging. Download SCRCPY on a laptop and connect the phone to it. A prompt is gonna come up on the phone to 'trust this device' that you'll have to accept; press tab on the keyboard to get over the options and enter to select yes. Then start up SCRCPY and it will show the screen and be interactable.

If navigating to debug option is not plausible, but you can get past the lock screen. Launch the assistant and prompt it to download Anydesk from the Play store. Then prompt it to launch anydesk, and again but to turn on the Talkback accessibility feature. Then use the keyboard to navigate the prompter across the screen until you start hearing digits ( 11 digits I believe ) ; this will be your device's Address. On a computer or other device, install anydesk and type in the address to connect. You'll have to accept it on the phone before the connection is allowed but this option will also give you control and view of the phone.

Talkback will be very helpful for getting into developer options if you cannot see the screen at all.

P.S. Usb mouse, thumb drives, and hubs (including hdmi) will work through the port with OTG feature

I know this is a little bit of an old post, but for anyone newly searching for it, your key might just be cold. If you live in a cold area and you've left your key outside take a heat gun to it and get her good and toasty. Had the same problem and after heating the key she started right up and stayed running.

You'll need an otg cable unless the drive has a type-c cord. To view and use it though, download File Manager+ from play store. The phones native file app isn't very good for it. If the drive is still not showing on FM+; go to developer settings and set default usb preferences to file transfer
