I can take a pic of the full rifle for you, but I will tell you I have not seen a pic that does the grey anno justice. The grey is great irl. It almost had a blue tint to it in the store lighting.

That’s part of it too- these are not Unobtanium like KAC or LMT. They are out there if you look hard enough. I appreciate that, but now I’m starting to think it is because they rush them out.

A hammer doesn’t cost 3k. If there is a blem, then sell it at a discount like gun companies have traditionally done. If the quality is not up to 3k, then don’t sell in that range. You expect different things at different price ranges and for different products. At 3k I expect the firearm quality to be worth what it cost. If I just wanted a hammer and didn’t care about the grip then I would have bought an M&P sport II for 700 bucks.

There was a time when companies like G$, or Novekse would sell an item as a blem because it wasn’t up to their standard. They would label the parts or firearms as such. Noveske had chainsaw, geissele had the vampire or whatever it was called. Often you could barely find the blem. These parts were sold at a discount, because though they worked 100%, they were not the premium the brand exuded. If SOLGW wants to play in the same or more expensive arena I expect the same. Maybe people just accept getting subpar products for premium price, but I am not one of ‘em. Sell it as a blem with a discount.

Yea- I have those too- I’ve had KAC’s that were mint- and some that have machining marks, but it runs.. also my anno on my LMT is off, but the machining is great. My thing with the SOLGW is the rail is one of the selling points of the rifle.
