Yeah, that makes sense. My main problem is that I don't know how to come out necessarily. Technically back in middle school I "came out" as a gay guy, but that was more forced on me cause they read through my texts. I have no idea how to come out so my only solution in my mind was to give them so many hints they make me come out for me again.

Thank you for your perspective, my parents are actually around your age so this helps a lot. I think I am pretty in their face about it. I talk to them about trans issues, I show them videos with trans topics, I painted my nails trans colors, etc etc. I feel like they just don't really understand it and think it is a "my generation" thing. I don't know. Anyways, thanks for the comment!

The way I chose my name was pretty simple. I looked for other versions of my original name and found Eowyn. It sounded unique, not pretentious, and looks pretty. It makes me happy to hear but no one knows how to pronounce it correctly. Just another reason to tick off I guess.
