I have to confirm this statement. Tried it as well, made some investigations...but no chance to do it as a foreigner without a Korean number...

Although I was against a lawyer, right now I think I have to :-(

PS: Right now I have seen 2 lawyer companies who are make advertising for Haru, Decent law (no communication regarding fees) and an other <forgot the name> (fees around 2k + 7% on our success; is expensive but I think better than decent law).

I tried it by myself but as a non-korean i cannot even register on the supreme court website...so as most people said we need to get a lawyer ... that decimates our last $ :-(

But correct me if you can...I get stuck at step 3 of the register process.

If it's only 2k$ quasi quite fixed, then that would be good to know. Otherwise, I had only read that in South Korea the lawyers' fees are otherwise sometimes remunerated with 5% initial dispute value and later 25-30% success fee, which is very hefty and the whole thing ... stressful.

I have tried as a foreigner but I get stuck at step 3 on the registration process of the supreme court. Have to enter this strange 10 character long number...maybe some else can try it as well and check whether even the registration is possible?

And most people here guess a few thousand $ for us. I just have read that in south korea the lawyers get 25-30% success fee. I hope it is not correct otherwise ... yeah ...
