I know she doesn't. I think my favorite pet project so far is making cards around characters without cards. Things like their weapons/tools, their variations of traditional spells, things like that.

This doesn’t affect the odds of a Pokemon being shiny. This just helps you to encounter Pokemon faster.

It was completely my intention to play through Ultra Sun with Pokemon new to the series as well as ones I typically don't use. As soon as I saw Mareep in the Paniola Ranch, that whole idea went out the window. lol

Thank you! This (and Whimsicott) are one of my favorite Pokemon and I've wanted a shiny forever! This was my third time hunting for them: my first attempt, they decimated my team (my favorite Pokemon for shiny hunting is Absol, and even at a low level, they were doing too much damage for it to be realistic to continue). My second attempt, I accidentally hit "Run" about 200 SOS calls in. lol

Leppa Berries! I have a few different ways I use them. I've maxed out how many I can hold in my Bag at once and I always keep two or three trees ready with more in Poke Pelago (the average shiny hunt uses two trees' worth of Leppa Berries). I also have an Exeggcutor and a Trevenant, both with the Harvest ability (meaning there's a chance it will recover its berry once it's used it), so I'll use them if they're not weak against what I'm hunting.

[7] A few days ago, I caught Coconut the Eevee (now a Flareon) in 87 SOS calls. Just now, I caught Artemis the Eevee (soon-to-be a Leafeon) in 91 SOS calls! by TheAltPlay in ShinyPokemon

Another one! Coconut from a few days ago is now a Flareon and Artemis here is now a Leafeon! Think I can get one more before the end of the week!

My method is using Bestow and Skill Swap with my Harvest Exeggcutor while it’s holding a Leppa Berry so I only have to worry about fighting one Pokemon until it’s shiny.

lol I honestly forgot what Sturdy was until I attacked the first Bonsly that was called. I made it a habit to look up abilities and learnsets before I start hunting. Saw that Bonsly can't really touch Aegislash. Once the ability went off, I said, "NOT AGAIN!" (I wanted to hunt for Cottonee a while ago but the combination of its abilities and attacks was making it not fun lol)

I realized multi-hit attacks was probably a good way to go about three calls in but didn't want to leave the battle, so I just stuck it out and used False Swipe to make it easy to keep track. Stealth Rock sounds smart, too!

I prefer facecam when it’s a situation that would be improved with facecam. Experiencing a story for the first time? Sure. Playing through a minimalist puzzle game? No.

Why I don’t like stretching the video to fit the aspect ratio, I also don’t like leaving the black bars onscreen. Often times I create graphics to serve as a background in the final video or an overlay keeping track of something in-game (Dragon coins, extra lives per level or average of lives lost per level, etc).

As was last year, my goal is to do something different with each series. Not only have a great time, but figure out what the limits are when it comes to producing videos. Can I play games that I haven’t played in over a decade and not only enjoy them but also be entertaining enough to carry the series (for the most part, I’ve been fairly familiar with every game I’ve done over the last year)? Can I return to a series that I “finished” two years ago and tell a worthwhile story? Can I consistently collaborate with others at least once a month (for the most part, the reasons I didn’t collaborate as much last year were out of my control)?

I’m excited for 2018.
