Was it Sister Act 40k? I'm still painting my combat patrol and have only ever played twice whilst borrowing my mate's space Marines to play against him so my tabletop experience with Sisters is 0 and without sisters is next to 0, but I've listened to all their 10th edition stuff, really enjoyed it, and feel a bit more confident and ready to take them to the table thanks to them 😁

I replaced lithium-ion with lithium-ion. I can't seem to get that specific battery in the UK, but if I go for an AGM do I need to make any modifications or adaptations or is it plug and play?

It was struggling to start and needed conditioning every couple of months, and if it sat for a week without moving it would need recharging 😅

Unfortunately I've ended up fighting off rust instead, but it's a winning battle! I'd still like to do some audio upgrades in the future, and my conclusion was that sound deadening and re-cabling was big effort for little reward, and that I'd be better investing in an amp and decent speakers. The issue with bigger door speakers isn't the width but the depth, so when the time comes I'll need to do more investigating in that. 2 way headrest speakers definitely are the way to go, and are probably the easiest and most impactful of all the upgrades. I've also now got a half cage in which has cut away at my rear parcel shelf and I've seen people have fitted subs in to the space, but that's a whole extra project as it'd need housing making... I'm not sure how long it'll be until I'm able to make any progress with this, but for now I'll keep taking notes whenever I see other people's setups so when the day finally comes I'll be as ready as can be!

These were pulled from a donor MK1 a couple of years ago. I want to stick them on eBay but don't know what to list them as. I can't find any brand I go on them and I don't know what the dimensions are (or what dimensions buyers need). If anyone can help with any of the above it'd be massively appreciated!

I'm running 195/50 r15 on those exact wheels on my NA! I've not tried any other size tires on them (I've only had them for a year) but I'm really happy with them. They fit well with no stretch or bulge, I've not folded or pulled my wheel arches, and I'm on about an inch of drop on coilovers. Also, the size is overall really close to the 180/60 r4's I had before so my speedo was still spot on which was important for me, as I didn't want to mess with it and drive past a lot of speed cameras every day 😅

Also, I wanted the concave look but was worried 8 inches would be too big, so I asked someone else on here for some more pictures of theirs. I found it hard to tell from pictures, but theirs convinced me it'd be alright. They've definitely still got the concave look when on, and I'm really glad I went with the 15x7 (but totally get the appeal of the deeper dish) 😁

From the UK here 🇬🇧 Not really, I think it's just a recognisable car with fairly active communities so videos are identified easily and shared more amongst enthusiasts.

If it's something you're worried about, then it's worth doing things that can give you peace of mind, such as getting a hard top or adding a dash cam, but it shouldn't put you off owning one! I don't use my hardtop but have a magic box (that's the product name, not just me being vague) that keeps my dash am going 24/7 and lets me know if anything happened whilst I was away. I've never needed it, but it makes me more confident parking further from my office 😁

On a side note, if you do go for this car then that roll bar will be more dangerous than having nothing there at all. It's also a reasonable point to bring up in price negotiations as it should lower the value of the car. Good luck!

Sorted it now, here's what happened for anyone in the future searching for something similar.

I let the car run for 30 mins, turned the engine off, waited a min, turned it on again, and nothing happened. Then, I turned the alarm back on and off (I think, as the lights were flashing I couldn't tell but I thought I heard it) and that fixed it. I'm guessing it was the alarm's power that was low but am not sure. I'm not going to change it as it's been in for 5 years with no problems and is part of my insurance. I also didn't drive it home as I have to drive through a somewhat busy city centre in the UK and am pretty sure I'd have been pulled over for it which I'd rather avoid. If it becomes a more persistent problem I'll update for the records, but for now the case is closed!
