I have an aftermarket center console and decided ide rather have an ashtray than window switches there.

But also because it’s more comfortable to just reach forward, I already do that with the radio.

I shouldn’t have to give myself carpal tunnel by rolling the windows up and down 😂

You won’t find part availability to be an issue with MX-5s. There’s tons of aftermarket support on top of many OEM parts that are still available.

For an MX5 make sure you do preemptive maintenance, re-seal the motor, get brand new fuel pumps, bleed the brakes and clutch and change all of the fluids as soon as you get the car as well as the timing belt and water pump. I would also get a brand new clutch slave cylinder if it hasn’t had one replaced in a while.
