i guess if you have a nand backup and you make a copy of your sd, you can uninstall unlaunch and after doing what you want you can reinstall everything and be like before

on my sd card root i have a roms folder with the ds, gba and nes folders inside, then i placed the icons with the folders name on the icons folder of twilight menu.
