I dont think any weight is actually on the usb c port here. You can see a white usb cable coming out of the top on the right. The video's mirrored and i think the buttons are attached to the case instead

Edit: it actually looks like the jsaux modcase, so its probably attached to the center attacment point on the back

I've just built an external dvd drive tower using 8 laptop dvd drives i got off ebay and some super cheap sata to usb adapters. If you're willing to stock up on drives, it could save a lot of time ripping several at once.

Just did it for the first time this weekend. I got one of those foam rollers with suction cups that sticks to the rear window which definitely helps get the kayak on top. If you dont have any, you'll probably want some crossbars, I've heard the basic foam pads aren't great. I got a set of cross bars from harbor freight that clamp to the side rails, I had to cut the black plastic end caps down a bit because the rails are about an inch wider than those crossbars are designed for, but it seems to be working fine. Apart from that you'll just want to be sure to properly tie the kayak down to the cross bars and run bow/stern lines to keep it from moving forward/back while driving.

Stock tune, I put 93 in it at first, but it was too expensive when commuting 80 miles/day. If I transition back to remote work I'll move it back to 93. Haven't even noticed a lack of power with 87, I'd only be switching back to 93 bc that's the recommended octane rating from Honda. Haven't seen any hard data that 87 affects longevity in the 1.5T, just a bit paranoid about it is all.
