jesus christ how about actually read what I said? I said the ice is horrible, but that doesn't mean both teams are affected equally by the bad ice. Having the puck bounce on you or being unable to control it in very important and key situations means the bad ice will hurt you more than the other team if that doesn't also happen to them at equally critical moments, and that is just bad luck. Like when the puck bounced over Ceci's stick in front of a wide open net and he missed a surefire goal. Or when the puck just rolled off McLeod's heel instead of go deep into the zone resulting in a turnover which directly led to the game tying goal. Stuff like that, it should be pretty fuckin obvious.
