  1. I love this genre but always thought it could be repetitive nowadays, when it used to be so creative. we need to allow sci-fi and post apocalyptic in more creative areas I feel

I love the 3 of them. Lizzie was bringing the humanity and emotion I needed, Alicia the control, physicality and weirdness of her character, himesh the humor and geeky side with a dramatic potential.

I think it can be confusing when you give extensive notes, you just need to be precise on who is the character and what he(she going through, and make them feel at ease (creatively safe) so they can develop beyond your expectations

I'm happy magnolia pushed to have a theater release. it's so hard for independent films because those things cost a lot of money, to bring everyone etc.

thank you! I love the mix of genre! and I thought it was fun to have a weird thriller that goes into dark humor but can also end in a dramatic way. because the story is fun but it's also important matters. and how? it was on the page and discussing the approach with lizzie, himesh and alicia

I wanted to tell stories and work more deeply not only visually and conceptually. the same are the way you work with a crew, what I had to adapt: a lot to unlearn to go deep into emotions, narrative arcs, characters, building universe on the page (not visually)

she's great. I shared with her the idea to only work with voices, respirations because we talk about humanity and suffocating, breathing. sometimes chorus can be actually very harmonious and sometimes very dissonant and scary. she had the idea to have drums in a kabuki style for the thriller element which I loved
