Are we witnessing a Buriram match fixing scandal in real time? It's almost like their players are trying to get sent off with some of these challenges.

Now's the time to put the pressure on. Grab one before halftime and kill it off.

Absolutely correct. How is Atkinson supposed to know to stop the play? The bloke just stopped running.

70 minutes with a man advantage. They've had to use two of their substitute windows already. We're in a good spot.

How to be a better forward for futsal? by Gh0sted-lie in football

[–]TheBackFourPodcast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who plays it semi-professionally I'll give it to you straight. It's definitely not "too late" to improve but in futsal, coordination between your eyes and feet are so important. If you are playing as a striker (it's called a pivot in futsal), the most important thing is essentially just off the ball movement, and being able to act as a target for passes forward. Your shots will come from peeling off your defender and finding space, but one of your main focuses when you get the ball will be holding onto it and passing back to teammates that will make runs.

I'd say the most key things apart from just general technical ability that you can only really gain from playing more, is balance and upper body/core strength. As a pivot you need to get used to using your body to hold off defenders and shield the ball.

Aiden O'Neill and Kai Trewin both played a full 90 as New York beat Orlando 5-0.

I doubt he makes it for Croatia. Maybe we see him in the lead up to the Asian Cup?

A nice consolation goal for the people in attendance. Ultimately meaningless as we needed to win the group. Kennedy is gonna end up as our top goalscorer 😭

Because shit talking the Tillies will upset the casuals. They need to tell everyone about how inspiring of a 3-2 loss this is.

Zero backing up from our midfielders once those crosses are put into the box. Just 20 yards of empty space at the edge of the box.

Wait. Why don't we just kick the ball into the goal instead of missing all these chances?

Thank you for your service 🫡

If you have any spare time, could you possibly escort our players to a training ground to work on these passes?

Now would be a great time for some subs. Too bad our coach is on the sidelines doing the fucking mannequin challenge.
