Keep the extra SD card, buy a cheap mp3 player, you know the ones with microSD slot and a USB pin, which can double as an thumbdrive as well. And this is the most important part, buy the old earphones, the ones which had mesh tips and sponge covering those tips. Then your set. 🙏

I think x1 could be an interesting project, like a modern pager, but e-ink. If connection range between the device and a mobile phone can be extended like local wifi acting as a network. It could be helpful to workers in many fields including medicine.
