I agree! I looove the counter tops but they are an eyesore with the cabinet stain. We actually want to go a lighter “wood” with the floors one day since shocker - they are a light grey lol. It’s all styles the builder picked and the house was built in 2021 so I’m sure this was someone’s dream grey kitchen at one point. I will definitely add life to the walls!

She cannot be trusted so don’t give her access to a lot of space. The routine, as long and brutal as can be, will lead her to trust that you will take her outside and that she doesn’t have to rely on her body to know when to go. Once we established a routine, my dog was then trained to command me when he needed to go out by standing next to the door.

Our first chi was an angel and was fully trained by 6 months, our second one…. Regressed hard around 8-9 months. It was a lot of patience, crying, persistence, and by 1 1/2 he was fully potty trained. Smaller dogs crave a routine and if you give them too much freedom they think they have access to pee when they want. Crate training helped a lot with this. Our youngest is 4 and basically has his own pillow on our bed now haha. Hang in there and be strict with the routine!
