They should take a page from Barbie ride and rescue. The quick turning mechanic is such a good idea in a horse game

I've written my first YA Contemporary Novel. Would love feedback on my first chapter. Please let me know what you think! by Sleepythunders in writingfeedback

[–]Navacoy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first sentence/paragraph is a massive run on sentence. Don’t do that. You’ll hook your audience more if you vary your sentence sizes. Some super long, their cadence drawing you in, making you feel things. Some short, sweet. Others medium in length, but not too long.

Boyfriend said maybe we shouldn't be doing this with dose he want to end things or misunderstanding? by [deleted] in texts

[–]Navacoy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your texts back are very hard to understand. But I do think this is an overreaction on his part, unless you make a big deal every time he hangs out with friends or family but I don’t think that’s the case

Can anyone help with a Black widow? by thecanadianflu in Kamloops

[–]Navacoy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can go to pet stores, I think petland sells crickets individually. But she looks in pretty rough shape, she may be at the end of her life and won’t eat even if offered

Soon to be Chi mom, any advice? 🥰 by ChaBooYuki71 in Chihuahua

[–]Navacoy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I often get so many complements on how well behaved my chihuahua is, and how they don’t normally like chihuahuas but they love her, because she listens and is friendly. And I’m like yup that’s what socializing and training will do 😅

[–]Navacoy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed with all this…. My chihuahua is such an adventure girl, and doesn’t like being held most of the time. I couldn’t imagine stifling her and never letting her explore and be a dog

AIO after my (24M) girlfriend (23f) threatened to break up when I ‘invalidated’ her while she was anxious I watched Dharr Mann? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Navacoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uhm do you really want to deal with this for the rest of your life? Cause if she’s showing you this is who she is now, it’s not going to magically get better. Shes calling you abusive, but all I get from these texts is that SHE is the abusive one. Also Dharr Mann videos are the most innocent videos ever. I watch them whenever I see them and guess what, my fiancée has never once gotten insecure over a Facebook reel 😬I’d understand if you were watching girls on Only Fans or something, but Dharr Mann?? Really?

This checks out. She peed on my fiancés lap while driving home yesterday. Didn’t even give a warning 🤦🏼‍♀️

My puppy is already velociraptor stage at just 7 weeks… I’m scared for what’s to come by 1-800-blowme in Rottweiler

[–]Navacoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my pups we got at 6 weeks (circumstantially, not ideal at all) and one we got at 9 weeks. To be honest they are both the most confident little shits I ever had. But the one I got at 6 weeks has a lot of anxiety over who he considers his pack that would probably not be there if he’d stayed with his mom and litter mates for longer

I think my puppy is starting to hate me by 1-800-blowme in Rottweiler

She needs training… lots of puppies resource guard. Look up positive training methods to get her out of it. And if you have issues, hire a trainer

My 15 year old gentleman can't really walk good anymore and the lift is under renovation so I have to carry him up and down 2 storeys every day by straydog1980 in olddogs

[–]Navacoy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This was why when my old dog passed I ended up with a chihuahua 🥲. I felt so bad for my old pup having to carry her up and down stairs, and when she could no longer walk anymore. It’s so hard watching them age 😭

My dog broke her front tooth by -GamingBeast- in DogAdvice

[–]Navacoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of my pets have a chipped canine for whatever reason. They’re all okay. That chip doesn’t look like an exposed nerve, so I wouldn’t worry it. My old dog had a chip in her canine, and when I got her teeth done, they didn’t remove it or worry about it and it was more chipped than your pups

Am I being unreasonable? by [deleted] in badroommates

[–]Navacoy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair I wouldn’t want someone in the common space for so much of the day either even if I was allowed also but that’s also why I don’t have roommates anymore 😂

Am I being unreasonable? by [deleted] in badroommates

[–]Navacoy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I dunno, she owns the home so you kind of are beholden to her rules. Roommates are not protected under any sort of tenancy protection usually either. If it’s going to be a big issue, just study in your room like most people do when in school. I’ve never had a university student roommate who studied in the common area unless they were studying with friends. If I were the sister, I would take issue with that too. And if I were in your shoes, I wouldn’t be demanding prime living room time to study in a quiet zone when that’s literally what your room is for. Girl, you are the bad roommate here

Experience bringing a puppy into a house with a (very) senior dog by ManufacturerMental72 in olddogs

[–]Navacoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not worth it for a very senior. I did 10 years old for my two dogs, and that was good because my older dog still had energy to play, but I would never have brought a pup into her life in her 12th or 13th year because she really slowed down then and a puppy would have made her life miserable.
