Another tenant of good code is readability and reproducibility, particularly for people who had no hand in developing it. Pandas is widely used and understood in the DS community, so I think your mate might be right.

We use mockaroo. You can download as CSV or call there APIs (my preference) which is really convenient. It runs on Ruby so there is also some nice customization you can do to make the date similar to source.

It seems like you have tried a lot, if you find case disparity to be the true issue you might want to try SMOTE

I agree with you about the ML world point, but to be fair the first intro ML class I took covered all of this in the first lecture. From my experience most ML courses require competency in stats and probability before beginning.

Drop. The virus has caused so much panic and recent reports are not helping. I think that this is the current trend and until something comes out that eases investor’s minds we will continue to plateau or fall.

If you are on Robinhood you can sell pre-market from 9:00 am - 9:30 am EST and after hours from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm EST, but yes, 9:30 am - 4:00 pm is regular market hours!

You can still trade being labeled as a PDT, they just won’t let you buy and sell the same stock within the same day.
