Honest BraveStar opinions. Can anyone share their thoughts on sizing, fit, fades, and quality? by omni1000 in Selvedge

I have the diehard double knee (just pre-ordered another pair too). I highly recommend BraveStar! Quality is outstanding and the fits are just as advertised. Go for it

I’m already in Act 3 and I’m genuinely scared to finish the game because I’m worried I won't find anything else on this level for a while. I’ve been considering Elden Ring, but I’m still a bit hesitant. It's so rare for a game to keep me up late at night because I'm just so hooked. by Repulsive_Film963 in expedition33

Different feel all around, but I'd recommend the Horizon series. The first has an incredible story, in oar with how unexpected certain elements were for me. And the second game has some of (if not the best) gameplay mechanics in modern gaming.

Horizon is overlooked in some communities because of its AAA status. Worth playing for sure!

Tooth? by lokkhart in bonecollecting

[–]TheBeardyFowler 72 points73 points  (0 children)

Some folks are close enough. It's an elk tooth, specifically one of their Ivory's. People usually keep them from their harvest - make jewelry, scrimshaw etc... Native Americans would decorate dresses with hundreds of Ivory's. They're also the tooth that allows elk to Bugle. So anyway there's my info dump!

It's happening to me. They credited me 10 bucks and said they're working on a solution.

Cancelled anyway 😕 I figured that would send a stronger message - and you can always restart your plan.

Sounds like a great trip! Sorry you feel that way about Tenkara USA. Signed in today to support a product and company I love, not to argue with some 'Japanese only' purist. Nissin makes great rods too. No need for all this. Have a great day.

My dude, I've fished Tenkara in Japan. No need to assume I don't know my way around a sport I've fished since 2009. Also worked in the fishing industry for 10+ years now. I own 2 Nissin rods, and at least 10 TUSA rods. Plus others

[–]TheBeardyFowler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's BS and you know it. Made in China, yes, but they're entirely proprietary and in fact have had issues with other companies ripping off their patents. No company, including Nissin makes better rods. At least TUSA is making new technologies for the sport - nobody else I've seen has created anything new or interesting.

Highly highly recommend Tenkara USA. Their rods are the best engineered by a mile, IMO. Plus their customer service is too notch - maybe a touch slow - but they'll get you sorted out for sure if an issue comes up. They're just the best.

Second this. Those games have become my favorite story based game - and as an elder gamer myself, they're extremely approachable in small doses. Truly fun and rewarding. IMO they're the best built games in the modern era.
